Alter Ego Media, Antenna Greece and Motor Oil are proceeding with the creation of a joint streaming platform through the transformation of the existing ANT1+ platform, which will operate under a new corporate identity.
As part of the agreement, Alter Ego Media and Motor Oil Hellas will enter the shareholding structure of ANTENNA GREECE SUPPORT SINGLE MEMBER S.A., which will be responsible for the management and operation of the ANT1+ platform. The transaction, which is subject to the approval of the competent authorities, provides for equal participation of the three partners and the transformation of the existing platform into a new digital destination for audiovisual content distribution.
The new platform will provide access to existing premium content (such as Formula 1 and F2 and F3 races), as well as additional content, in line with the business plan, which also includes the development of original productions. Its objective is to offer audiences a comprehensive viewing experience, with enhanced access to rich content, ease of use, advanced technological features and personalised recommendations.
The collaboration between the three groups creates the conditions for the development of a strong Greek platform, strengthening domestic production and the availability of high-quality content in an environment of increasing international competition.
