MEGA News, a FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) channel to be launched on Monday 31 March, will be available via MEGA Play, the www.megatv.com website, and—from 1 May—COSMOTE TV.
Breaking new ground in Greek television, MEGA News will give viewers the opportunity to watch a continuous stream of programming, including MEGA’s existing news programming, new broadcasts and live coverage of all major events, via hybrid television.
All our new programming will have one thing in common: the reliability with which it conveys the news that shapes our world. Issues from the realms of Politics, the Economy, the world of Business, Energy, Investment, Technology, Culture and Science will be analyzed in depth and with the quality stamp of MEGA‘s experienced journalists.
With the prestige of Oikonomikos Tachydromos, the new daily and weekly shows, the one-minute news bulletins, the magazine show and our new political talk show, MEGA News is committed to covering and analyzing the domestic and international news as fully as possible. In addition, MEGA News—whose programming will be added to constantly—will also broadcast selected news programs from the MEGA Archive that made history.
The new channel’s programming will be shaped by MEGA‘s News and Information Department, headed by the News and Information Director, Mr. Stamatis Malelis.
